For Porsche, the flyback chronograph movement is the protagonist here. Porsche boasted about the COSC-certified Werk 01.200 movement and quoted "If we want something, we have to invent it ourselves". This is a bit confusing because the technology in the movement may be optimized, but it's not new. The flyback chronograph allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted with a single button-which means you don't have to stop, reset, and then start the chronograph again-which is useful for timing laps on the track. The sapphire caseback allows the 4Hz movement to be clearly visible, and the open barrel allows you to see the gear train and flyback function. The entire movement is coated with black PVD and the rotor is made of tungsten steel-Porsche claims to "guarantee strong wind." Although none of the materials I received mentions the power reserve, it is assumed that it is the same as the other watches in the 1919 Chronotimer series at 48 hours.
